ABOUT THE BOOK:
There’s nothing more Charlie hates than ballet. However, her mother insists she be more ladylike and stop playing sports with her brother and his friends. You can imagine Charlie’s delight when she stumbles upon her first lacrosse practice with girls her age with varying heights and builds – all with something a bit unique and special to contribute to the team’s success.

Lauren Burke Meyer is the author of Charlie STEPs UP to LACROSSE. She’s also the founder of the Lauren’s Law blog and a regular contributor of The Naptown Scoop, Chesapeake Family magazine, and The Severna Park Voice. Her work has also appeared on Buzzfeed, as well as in The Capital, Jack & Jill magazine, edCircuit, among other outlets. She resides in Severna Park with her husband and three daughters ages 5 and under. Lauren’s a former D1 lacrosse player at Penn State and longtime coach.
