GLOW-IN-THE-DARK EGG HUNT at the Maryland Zoo
March 28 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Show off your competitive side during the Zoo’s adult (21+) egg hunt! You’ll scramble through the Zoo in search of glow-in-the-dark eggs, some of which may be stuffed with candy, while others will have prize slips. Prizes include a one-year membership to the Zoo, gift certificates to your favorite restaurants, brewery tours, and more! The event will also feature a “hoppy” hour, food truck (food sold separately), photos with the Easter Bunny, and more. Please BYOF – bring your own flashlight!
ITINERARY:
- 6:30 – 7:45: Check in, “hoppy” hour, photo ops with Zoo mascots & Easter Bunny, crafts, mystery candy tasting challenge, trivia
- 7:45: Line up
- 8:00 – 9:30: Egg Hunt (throughout the Zoo)
- 9:30: Prize Redemption
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate. Your ticket includes two (2) drink vouchers (beer/wine/soda), food sold separately.
- Egg hunt includes various prizes including hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, Zoo experiences, and more. Participation does not guarantee a prize, though you will get candy!
- Hunt will take place throughout specific areas of the Zoo. Northern Passage, Chimp Forest, and the aviaries will be closed. Exhibit animals will not be viewable.
- Participants should wear comfortable shoes that they are okay with getting a little dirty.
- Guests are encouraged to BYOF (bring your own flashlight) and glow gear
- Donate your cell phone or small electronic device and receive an additional drink ticket!
Supplies/catering orders will be placed one week prior to the event. To secure your spot, please plan to purchase your tickets at least one week prior to this event.
