Maryland Renaissance Festival
October 15 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Every weekend is special at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. All of our regularly scheduled entertainment runs throughout the entire festival season, but the weekends below have value-added themes, events or performances.
Children’s Weekend: August 26th and 27th – One child aged 7 through 15 is admitted free with each adult ticket purchased. Children 6 and under are always free!
Romance Weekend: Saturday, September 2nd Singles Party. Singles 21+ are welcomed to attend a no-pressure Meet & Mingle near Blackfriar’s Stage & the Dragon Inn from 1pm – 5pm. Please note: The Party will be cancelled if weather is not agreeable!
Sunday, September 3rd: Renewal of Vows. Partners can renew their commitment to each other at a special Renewal of Vows ceremony at the Blackfriar’s Theatre. This short (10 minutes) non-religious ceremony will be performed at 3pm. No reservations needed. Seating is first come, first served. This is a large group event, not a ceremony for individual couples.
Seniors Day. All seniors 62+ are admitted free on Labor Day Monday, September 4th. Seniors do not need a ticket. You may arrive and proceed directly to the gate.
Celtic Celebration: September 9th & 10th – Join festival favorites and special guests as we focus on a celebration of Celtic music!
Pirate Adventure Weekend: September 16th & 17th: Pirate music and mayhem!
Myth & Magic Weekend: September 23rd & 24th – Celebrate the myths and legends of the British Isles and special magic performances!
Shakespeare Weekend: September 30th & October 1st. Celebrating the Bard!
ASL Interpretation: Saturday, September 9th and Sunday October 8th – ASL Sign language interpretations at many shows and court events. Please visit the Guest Services Pavilion for a complete list of these shows. Performance interpretation by SHARAVA Interpreting service.
