About Frolic the 🦊 Fox

🌎The world needs more time to wonder. Frolic the Fox, featuring Kathryn Para, helps to spark wonder in families through story, song and movement. Exploring themes and literature with active pretending, imagination that invites your children to participate and create the unfolding story.

🎵Kathryn Para has written hundreds of songs and weaves them into childhood themes. These “whole-body” songs are catchy and fun. Educators and teachers accross the country use them to help as “GuideNotes” to help teach and guide children.

Nature time with Frolic is improv, or “emergent learning”:  A truly interactive experience,  Frolic improvises based on the interestes and energetic needs of the audience. Sometimes new songs are written for the moment!

Who is Frolic the Fox?

More than a concert, more than storytime, more than music class. Frolic the Fox 🦊is a magical, musical fox-lady who brings whimsy, wonder and joy to families through nature, story and song.  Her music is interactive, sweet, empowering and catchy. All music she features is original, written by Kathryn Para and her family. Frolic the Fox is a creation of Kathryn Para.

Who is Kathryn Para?

Kathryn Para is a singer-songwriter “mom-grown musician” who empowers teachers and parents to wield wonder through nature, story, song and play.

Diversity:

Kathryn & Frolic hold a welcominig space for all. Diversity of all sorts is embraced and celebrated. This includes body diversity and NeuroDiversity, which means that children who’s minds work differently are welcome and I will do all I can to enable their participation.  Please let me know if there is a way I can accommodate.

Accessibility: Please let me know if there is a way that I can make this class more accessible for you. Due to age of building, bathrooms are up two set of steps. The closest wheelchair-accessible bathroom is at the B& A Trail museum, which is usually open during class. We usually sit on the floor with children and with yoga bolsters but two chairs are available for use for those who may have trouble sitting on the floor.

Touch base with any feedback, questions or concerns.
