Busch Annapolis Library Winter Film Series: Immigrant Stories
January 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The United States is often called a nation of immigrants, a country built by the millions who came here seeking economic opportunities, protection of religious or political freedoms, or simply “a new life.” While each immigrant’s experience was, and is, unique, these four well-regarded films, all made in the 21st century, tell memorable stories both moving and inspiring.
Annapolis cinephile, Ann Glenn, introduces each screening with facts and insights about the film’s production and actors and why it’s a standout. Each screening begins promptly at 2:00 pm. Includes post-screening Q&A and discussion.
Minari (2020) Saturday, January 28
