B.I.G. Book Sale – Books for all ages

Over 70,000 good used books priced from 50 cents to $3.

What is Books for International Goodwill (B.I.G.)?

B.I.G.’s Purpose: B.I.G. provides services for recycling books discarded by current owners and puts them in the hands of new users.

B.I.G.’s Vision: B.I.G. will be the provider of choice in the Annapolis area for:
- Receiving books being discarded by current owners
- identifying requirements for books by groups both domestic & international who have limited resources for acquiring books
- Sorting & building shipments based on requirements
- Shipping to needy groups for delivery to end users
- Conducting book sales to provide revenue to meet expenses as well as putting books in the hands of new users on an individual basis
Ways You Can Help

Shop at a B.I.G. Book Sale
The sales are held many times throughout the year. Buy quality books ranging in price from 50 cents to $3.00. Funds collected at sales support future shipments and operational costs.

Donate your Gently Used Books
There is a great need for non-fiction and children’s books, but any gently used book is accepted. A 24/7 shed is available at the warehouse (451 Defense Hwy. Annapolis, MD). Donations can be tax deductible

Volunteers are Needed for Sorting
Volunteers work from 9am-3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays sorting books for sale and shipment.

Volunteers are Needed for Packing
When? On the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month from 8am-12pm. High School and College students can earn community service credit for their help!
